I grew up Fishing, Trapping and Hunting. I traveled at an early age half way around the world and back. I have worked with inner-city folks, and they learned how to thrive for months at a time in the out of doors. You can learn and plan. Better yet, you can travel or live any place and create a safe and comfortable place for you and your family . You can build a life with one foot in the out of doors and another in an office or business.

If you grew up in the outdoor life, ask yourself, how will I fund this next step in my life? What steps can I take to get my peace of mind? Maybe, it seems like things didn’t turn out the way they should have. Ahh, that’s what the dream sellers fail to talk about. We offer you case studies to show you how we and others have built gardens from ashes.

Lots of room on the inside of this home-built, 458 sq foot yurt.
It even has four separated rooms. Combined with an on
site camper and small SIP (panels you can build) buildings
and 195 sq foot office / storage area brings the usable living
space to well over 959 sq feet. Our yurt is, “way cool” for something that is still considered a tent! It has withstood: 70 MPH + winds, temps of – 17 F and lots of snow and ice.

A 4 bedroom, 1 bath apartment on Long Island, NY (1000 sq feet) near the airport (Noise) lists for $2600 per month. In our rural area up to $2000 per month as of 9/24/22 In the summer and fall we have an outdoor screened in area that adds about 100 sq feet of area with close to “Five Acres and Independence.”

We are working our way to a self sustainable life.

At this time, we are raising chickens, quail, bees for honey, tap our own maples for syrup, and grow many of our summer vegetables. We have planted: Berry Bushes, Apple Trees, Cherries, Plum Trees, Grapes, Hazelnut, Chestnuts and Rose bushes. We have started our rhubarb and asparagus patches.

As of this year we have added all the equipment we need for raising rabbits and are closing in areas for raising pork. After this year’s successful egg hatching and incubation, We feel confident that we will be growing out poultry fryers this summer.
